As it prepares to celebrate a proud history in South Australia and its transition from manufacturer to a national sales company, Holden has announced a major partnership with The Smith Family to sponsor 55 young people living in Adelaide’s northern suburbs through the education charity’s Learning for Life program.

The initiative with The Smith Family will allow the company to leave a lasting legacy which will support the education of dozens of young South Australians in need.

With a goal of raising $360,000, three collectible Limited Edition Holden Commodores – ‘The Commodore Collection’ – will be auctioned on Sunday, October 15 as part of the Holden Dream Cruise celebration.

The vehicles in ‘The Commodore Collection’ which will be amongst the last to roll off the Elizabeth production line are:

  • Director V8 Auto Sedan #5
  • Motorsport V8 Auto Sedan #5
  • Magnum V8 Auto Utility #111

In addition to funding The Smith Family Learning For Life scholarships, and in tribute to the late Peter Brock, 50% of proceeds from the Director will be donated to the Lighthouse Foundation, a charity patroned by Beverley Brock that supports the homeless.
